Join St. Vincent de Paul Middletown for our annual Soup Supper cook-off! This year’s event will feature a variety of homemade soups prepared by community members and local businesses, as well as guest servers, raffle prizes, and friendly competition. Be sure to bring your appetite and vote for your favorite soup(s)!
100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit SVDM's Amazing Grace Free Community Market (AGFCM). AGFCM, located at 16 Stack Street in Middletown, is the largest client choice, fresh food pantry in Connecticut, serving 1,000 families per month with groceries. The facility has been remodeled to mirror a grocery store experience and is now known as a Free Community Market. It houses a broad selection of meats, dairy, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and food staples. Individuals and families are empowered to shop twice per month without stigma and select foods that align with their personal and cultural preferences.
Consider joining SVDM as a sponsor! Sponsorships are an excellent way to promote your business while giving back to the community we all share. All of the proceeds from the Soup Supper, including sponsorships, will allow SVDM to feed more families as we approach the colder months of the year.
We are adding raffles to the Soup Supper this year, and we hope you'll consider donating! Raffles not only help raise extra funds for SVDM, they also offer donors the opportunity to promote their business, goods, and services.
We are once again inviting community members and businesses alike to register their soups in the Soup Supper Cookoff. All soups will be voted on by attendees, so be sure to give it your all! The team that prepares the best soup will even receive a prize from SVDM.
