Lotuswood Organic Wellness Farm
21 Finchville Turnpike, Middletown, United States
Join Ayurveda practitioners Aruna and Sri for a one-day restorative retreat at Lotuswood Organic Wellness Farm, nestled in the hills outside Middletown, NY. Here, you will deepen your connection to the land, your body, and your own energy. This day is crafted to rejuvenate the senses and restore balance.
Ayurveda is a holistic system of healing from ancient India, where food is regarded as medicine, and gut health is the starting place for overall health.
Your hosts and facilitators will guide you through mindful intention, movement, and cooking organic produce from the farm. Each experience is designed to harmonize your energy and bring you back to your true self.
Whether savoring bites of delicately prepared food, exploring the farm, or harvesting your supper, you will experience the interconnection between soil, food and health.
This event is part of a weekend featuring Prana Kitchens. If you would like to join our 5-course South Indian Dinner on Sun. Sept. 7, please follow this link: https://lotuswoodfarm.com/calendar/from-plant-to-plate-a-5-course-south-indian-feast/

🥒 Cucumber Mint Limeade Refresher
A summer drink that gently blends the cooling essence of cucumber and mint with a light touch of lime and freshly ground pepper. This vibrant combination supports digestion, hydrates deeply, and kindles Agni — the digestive fire. Perfect for warm days on the farm, it’s a sattvic, uplifting sipper that soothes from the first sip to the last.
🌾 Ellu Podi Rice (with Hand-Pounded Rice or Millet)
A deeply grounding dish made with your choice of hand-pounded rice or millet, gently tossed with Prana Kitchens’ signature Ellu Podi — a roasted sesame and lentil spice blend — and finished with ghee and crisped curry leaves. Rich in plant-based protein, healthy fats, and flavor, this dish nourishes the tissues while supporting digestion and energy.
🥕 Carrot & Beet Pachadi with Amalaki Spice
A vibrant plant based yogurt relish made with steamed carrots and beets, brought to life with a gently warming Amalaki spice blend — featuring Indian gooseberry (amla), cumin, and curry leaves.
