About Gene Trifilo:
“Crazy” Gene Trifilo was born February 3rd, 1976, in Beacon, NY, and was delivered by a doctor that was missing fingers on his right hand. Gene has spent a lifetime entertaining crowds across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Gene was nominated class clown by his senior class in 1994, and shortly after, he began the impressive career that has led him to perform all over, including New York City, New Jersey, Las Vegas, the Hudson Valley, Denver, Detroit, Tampa, Miami, London, and Paris to name just a few.
Gene has been seen in some of the best clubs, including the Broadway Comedy Club, Manhattan Comedy Club, Rascals, The Brew Ha-Ha, and The Improv. He has also performed numerous dinner shows, including the world-famous Totonno’s Italian Bistro in Yonkers, New York. Television appearances include NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Laugh out Loud, and Comedy for a Cause. You may have heard Crazy Gene on WPDH 101.5 FM with Coop and Tobin and Good Morning Hudson Valley at 1260 AM with Bruce Owen and Jay Verzi.
About Melvin George:
Melvin George "The King Of Smooth!" - Tall, lean, bespectacled, and armed with a brazen sense of "cool."
Melvin made his comedy debut in his hometown of Boston and moved to New York City where he quickly became successful. A trained actor and director, Melvin used his theatrical training as a member of "The Kitchen Table Comedy Team" in New York, making appearances at Carnegie Hall, The Village Gate and on several local TV shows.
Melvin has appeared in concert with such celebrated artists as Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Roberta Flack, Patti LaBelle, The Commodores, The Temptations and The Four Tops. Melvin’s successful showcase at the National Association for Campus Activities’ Southeast Regional Conference resulted in over 60 college dates, netting him a coveted showcase spot at the 1989 National NACA Convention in Nashville.
In 1990 he was nominated for National Campus Entertainment Award for comedy. He has been seen in the films "Mo’ Better Blues" and "Meteor Man". Melvin also appeared on Fox’s "Comic Strip Live", A & E’s "An Evening at the Improv", "Caroline’s Comedy Hour" and HBO’s "Def Comedy Jam."
