Talk - Peter Gibson

Teesside University Law Society is pleased to welcome former Member of Parliament Peter Gibson as a guest speaker on 18 February, 2–4PM.

Peter will share insights from his time in Parliament, reflecting on the relationship between law, public policy, and public service. This session offers students and attendees a valuable opportunity to hear first-hand how legal understanding intersects with political decision-making, legislative processes, and representation at a national level.

The talk will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.

This free event is open to students, staff, and members of the wider community with an interest in law, governance, and public life.
