Meet the Megabeasts!

Come and meet tarantulas, giant toads, geckos, snakes, huge insects and more! During the talk children will be allowed to touch some of the animals. Being able to feel the skin of a lizard and the exoskeleton of an insect brings them closer to experiencing our weird and wonderful animals in a whole new way!

Guy Tansley has been keeping and breeding exotic insects for over 30 years and brings his enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject to his talks. His travels include the rain forests of Borneo, South America, and West Africa to study the habits and habitats of insects and spiders. Having visited these rain forests he can tell you first-hand about the sights and sounds of these magnificent places and the amazing creatures that live there.
