Before they play Boston’s Club Passim, Flynn Cohen and Laura Orshaw will appear at Town Hall Theater, joined by special guest Matt Flinner on mandolin.
Come out for an evening of traditional and contemporary bluegrass as these three world-class, powerhouse musicians weave together harmonious voices, guitar, fiddle, and mandolin into an unforgettable musical experience.
Cohen’s solo record, Mellow Yell, was called “a masterpiece of contemporary bluegrass” by Bluegrass Unlimited magazine.
Orshaw has celebrated a successful career as a member of the Grammy nominated Po’ Ramblin Boys, and prides herself on keeping the sounds of traditional bluegrass live in the genre.
Grammy nominated Flinner dedicated himself to bluegrass from a young age and has spent the last several decades of his life touring with the celebrated Matt Flinner Trio, and the Modern Mandolin Quartet.
