Barbara Riggs: Reagan the Horseman (Members Only)

Back by popular demand, Barbara Riggs, retired Deputy Director of the U.S. Secret Service, Middleburg resident, and lifelong horsewoman, will regale the audience with “behind the scenes” portrayal of Ronald Reagan the Horseman.

During Ms. Riggs’s 31-year career with the Secret Service (1975–2006), she served six different presidents. From 1981–1986, she served as presidential protection detail for President Reagan, during which she spent hours "riding the trails" with him.

Ms. Riggs will highlight the role horses played in Reagan’s life and illuminate his passion for horses. With some never-seen photographs, she will also share personal experiences and humorous stories about riding with the former president.

Ms. Riggs is also thrilled to announce her role as the Executive Producer for the production of the new feature-length documentary, REAGAN THE HORSEMAN.
