Create your own beautiful wreath in community with others at Soule Homestead’s Annual Wreath Making Workshop! Long-time volunteer and instructor, Mary Ann Cunningham and Director Kelly MacDonald Weeks will lead THREE Saturday sessions of wreath making workshops using freshly cut winter greens harvested at Soule. Director Kelly MacDonald Weeks will be leading the Tuesday evening workshop.
In just 1.5 hours, you’ll transform a selection of natural materials into a stunning, handcrafted wreath that will brighten up any space. Our wreath forms are 100% handmade by Kelly at Soule Homestead.
NEW: In addition to using our locally sources greens, we have 5 spots in each session allocated to wreaths made with locally sourced dried flowers, goldenrod, tansy, asters, and other locally sourced greens (non ever-green types).
Whether you’re new to crafting or a seasoned DIY enthusiast, this workshop is designed to be fun and accessible. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each step, from choosing your materials to assembling your wreath. The workshop includes a handmade wreath form, fresh cut greens, ribbon, wire, and seasonal decorative bobbles, other additional decorations. Attendees are encouraged to bring special decorations they'd like to add. Gloves if they have them, and snips for cutting greens.
Space is extremely limited for these workshops, so grab your spot while they're still available.
Please Note: We ask that you select your wreath and cannot allow for switching styles once you've registered. There is a lot of prep that goes into the making of these wreaths and last-minute switches isn't possible. If you need to change your wreath choice, please notify us at least one week in advance and we will accommodate if possible.
