ARCHERY TOURNAMENT DETAILS: The Archers Impossible Quiz
8 arrows or bolts per person, all timed gate shoots (30 seconds)
Slap me Silly games brings you a game show that takes place here on the archery field. All questions will be posed in a simple format, with 4 potential answers. Your mission, as you chose to accept this, is to pick the best answer and hit the target in the corresponding ring. As this is a quiz game show, it is HIGHLY SUGGESTED that you do not share knowledge of any correct answers with your competitors. You may talk about anything, INCLUDING misleading your fellow archers. The rings on a standard target face will have letters assigned to them – A, B, C, D, and E. E will always be the bullseye, and will always give the correct answer. Some questions will have more than 1 correct answer, and a few have no correct answers. There are a number of questions, and in each round, every archer can go to any gate, read the question, and take 2 shots at that corresponding target. There are no penalties for taking a single shot, but if an archer takes more than 2 shots in a given gate, you will get marked as incorrect. There are 4 targets, each with a placard. Each round, new questions will emerge. Archers will get a scorecard and choose their best answer from the letters hit. Should an arrow hit on a line, the archer can choose which answer they prefer, (E is always correct). At the end of the game, scores will be tallied and the highest score wins. Should a tie occur, there will be 4 bonus questions which will be HARDER than all the other ones, same rules apply as above.
THROWN WEAPON TOURNAMENT DETAILS: The Pennsic Wars will have passed, and surely the War Ducks stood resolute, but the defense of our Barony is an ongoing endevor. I, Baron Vladimir, the current An Dub Thrown Weapons Champion, in a quest to secure a successor, put forth a challenge to all brave enough to face the most sinister of creatures: The Black Dragon! The format of our tournament is a "Bear Pit" the likes of which may never have occurred before with this martial endevor. Anyone can enter, but only Citizens of the Barony may secure the title of Baronial Thrown Weapons Champion!
BREWING COMPETITION DETAILS: Calling all brewers! Prepare to dazzle the senses and capture the essence of royalty with our upcoming brewing competition at Arrows, Axes, and Ales, where Their Excellencies Fiona and Hugoline will select my successor as Champion of Brewers. I invite you to craft a beverage worthy of a royal court. Whether you're a seasoned brewer or just starting out, this is your chance to showcase your skills and create a brew that would impress even the most discerning palate.
Theme:
• Luxurious Ingredients: Utilize the finest ingredients to create a truly refined brew.
• Royal Appeal: Design a beverage that evokes the opulence and elegance of a royal court.

Note: Many period luxuries are more accessible now. Ingredients do not need to be rare or inaccessible to fit the theme, but they should be documentable.

There will be no feast; however, a hearty dayboard will be provided by the Guild of Cooks of An Dubhaigeainn, coordinated by Sir Gilbert Christian Blackmoor
This is a primarily outdoor event. There will be Archery and Thrown Weapon ranges as well as a common area for day shades and seating. We will have the use of the main hall for dayboard use as well as shelter in the event of inclement weather.
