Charity Fund Raiser Marathon with this year theme in support of National Women’s Day causes.
Our 2025 event is represented by Rotary Clubs of Middelburg and Witbank with Middelburg Railway Company partners and hosted by the Eskom Althletics Club.
This year will be again be having a 21.7km marathon, a 10km race and a 4.9km Fun Run Race.
The starting points of the 21.7km begin at Pan Station AFGRI Silos, the 10km from Middelburg Dam and 4.9km Fun Run from Rustique / Towers all via the R104.
We are glad to say that our relaunch last year 2024 was a success with a great support of 1600 athletes. This year 2025 we are opening the event to total of 2500 athletes and gradually look to grow the event the following successive years.
This event has a great community spirit, open to all ages, and demographics. Schools, business and individuals are all welcomed.
Rotary International is a global leader in service organization. The self-declared mission of Rotary, as stated on its website, is to "provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through [the] fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders". It is a non-political and non-religious organization. Membership is by application or invitation and based on various social factors. There are over 46,000 member clubs worldwide, with a membership of 1.4 million individuals, known as Rotarians.
Race entries will begin to open from 1 May and will close on last day of 15 July.
