The Barker Mansion is excited to welcome Deb Parcell, Community Preservation Specialist with Indiana Landmarks, for a three-part speaker series highlighting Indiana’s architectural history and most fascinating hidden landmarks. These engaging presentations will explore the state’s diverse architectural styles, lesser-known historic gems, and the inspiring transformations of endangered properties.

Topic: Architectural Styles
Explore Indiana’s architectural evolution, from early 19th-century structures to mid-century Modern designs. This presentation will feature a wide range of architectural styles found throughout Michigan City and beyond.

Your $20 purchase includes admission to the speaker series and a self-guided tour of The Mansion. For an additional $5, your upgraded ticket will include a Guided Tour of The Mansion to begin after the speaker series, at 1:00 pm.
