Liquid Motion: Essential Movement for Dance, Flow, & Aerial Artists

Workshop Overview:
This 90-minute workshop will explore how to make body movement an intentional and impactful part of your flow or aerial practice using Liquid Motion fundamentals. Learn to connect movement with props or apparatus, enhance stage presence, and create seamless transitions that captivate your audience.

Who Should Attend:
Ideal for flow artists, pole dancers, aerialists, and burlesque performers with experience in any dance style, flow prop, or aerial apparatus (silks, sling, or lyra).

What to Expect:

• Foundational Liquid Motion techniques
• Connection between body movement and prop/apparatus
• Creative floorwork and spatial awareness
• Build sequences with your own 3–5 favorite moves

What to Bring:

• Your preferred prop (aerial spots are limited)
• Comfortable clothing, layers, dance shoes/socks
• Knee pads, water, towel

Note: This event will be hosted on the third floor of a historic building in downtown Miamisburg, the only access to the space is two flights of steep stairs. Aerial artists must be proficient in their chosen apparatus and will be asked to indicate their prop or apparatus during registration.
