The Opera Atelier’s MOZ-Art Program (short for Musical, Opera, Zarzuela & Art) is a unique summer camp designed to awaken your child’s creativity, boost their confidence, and nurture their passion for the performing arts.
Through music, voice, acting, and visual arts, children and teens thrive in a supportive and inspiring environment led by professional teaching artists.
🎬 The program culminates in a fully staged opera performance where every student takes the stage!
This year, your child will be part of something truly special—Frau Haydn in Trouble, an original opera with music and libretto by The Opera Atelier’s Music Director, Daniel Daroca. Students will actively participate in the creative process and take the stage for its full premiere as a brand-new opera.
Whether your child is preparing for magnet school auditions or simply exploring their creative talents, the MOZ-Art Program offers them space to grow artistically and personally.
✨ Thanks to the support of the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs and The Children’s Trust, full scholarships are available for those who qualify—covering 100% of the cost of the summer camp! Additionally, The Opera Atelier also offers partial scholarships for families who may not meet the criteria for full funding.
