Ready to turn everyday waste into garden gold? 🌱 Join Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces in partnership with UF/IFAS Extension for our Composting At Home 101 Workshop. This free, hands-on workshop will introduce you to the simple, step-by-step process of transforming food scraps, leaves, paper products, and other natural materials into nutrient-rich compost.
Led by University of Florida Master Gardeners, this engaging session will teach you practical skills to reduce household waste, improve your soil, and support a healthier environment. Not only will you leave with knowledge you can use immediately at home, but you’ll also walk away with the confidence to make composting a natural part of your lifestyle.
