Storytime in the Pools with Author Mary Blain

Join us for a magical morning as we welcome Mary Blain, author of the newly released children’s book Explore With Me Mid Canterbury, for a special poolside storytime.

A beautifully designed children’s book that follows a playful kōtare (kingfisher) on an adventure through the stunning landscapes, attractions, and hidden gems of Mid Canterbury, New Zealand.

How it works
· Book the Discovery Pools for 10:00am on 1 December 2025
· Children can sit in the warm pool and listen to Mary read her story at 10.30am
· Plus enjoy a free hot drink on us during the session
