Trish returns home one night to see a light on in her bedroom window, knowing that she didn't leave it on she races to her neighbor Liz who she hasn't seen in years. Liz lives with her adult son Nathan and as Trish re-enters their lives, reality begins to bend and shake around them. The lights are on, but something isn't quite right.
