This beautiful 10.5″x14″ tote is a GREAT addition to your bag collection. If made with canvas or firm interfacing it stands tall with an exterior slide pocket and exterior zipper pocket. Handles can be made of leather, webbing, or coordinating fabric.
Class Supplies:
5/8 exterior fabric
1 yd lining fabric
1 yd accent fabric
1 3/4 yd lightweight fusible interfacing for the lining
1/2 yd firm interfacing or fusible fleece for the exterior fabric
7″ zipper for front pocket
1.5 yds of one inch webbing or one inch leather strap
2.5 yds cording for drawstring top
Optional: 4 feet for bag bottom; 4 Chicago style rivets to secure handles
When using canvas, firm interfacing, and leather, you may want to use a semi-industrial sewing machine with needles for leather.
