TWO SMALL PIECES OF GLASS

We are excited to announce the final Public Show for the Gregg L.. Williams Planetarium at Pierce Middle School: Slated for May 17, 2025, the show will be a dinner and a show Event. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm at the Planetarium with a show following around 7:00 pm.

The cost will be $15.00 per person for both the meal and the show. Our show to be presented will be “Two Small Pieces of Glass,” a show about the Italian astronomer Galileo and telescopes. In keeping with our theme of honoring the great astronomer, Galileo Galilei, we are offering an Italian cuisine buffet dinner.

Our menu includes salad and a bread stick, mostaccioli noodle with either a marinara or alfredo sauce, meatballs and parmesan chicken, Mediterranean green beans, cupcakes for dessert, iced tea and lemonade. Our Italian cuisine buffet dinner is being prepared for us by the Culinary Arts students from Merrillville High School!

The Gregg L Williams Planetarium is located in Clifford Pierce Middle School, 199 East 70th Avenue.

You can access the Planetarium through the front entrance on the west side of the school.
