Rocky Short Bio
In high school, Rocky studied piano and chamber music at Peabody Preparatory at Johns Hopkins. Then he attended Yale College where he studied Interdisciplinary Art. He took time off from college to work as an Actor, a Production Assistant, a Dancer, a Producer, a Stage Manager and a Musician in New York City. Select Film: Netflix's The Game (Costume Design + Production Design), DOC NYC ( A Cops and Robbers Story, Wardrobe Supervisor), Slamdance (Now is Not The Best Time, Costume Designer), and other major international film festivals. Directing credits include: Music Videos, Commercials, Feature Length Documentaries, and more. Rocky also founded several initiatives to support POC &/or lgbtqi2s+ persons. These include: Dreamstorm, an Innovation Incubator; The Moon Studio, which produces filmic and theatrical content; and Seven One Seven, a new Podcast. Previously, he was appointed to the Howard County (Maryland) Environmental Sustainability Board.
