The 25th annual Poker Run is on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.
Fifteen downtown Merrill businesses are partnering to offer $1,700 in prizes that can be used at any participating sponsor. The grand prize winner will receive $750, with additional prizes of $180 for first place, $150 for second place, and $120 for third place. Two prizes will be awarded for the worst poker hands, and a new Golden Egg Contest will award $200 to participants who collect stamps at all 15 businesses. All entry prize winners will receive a Chula Vista trip.
Participants can pick up game cards at any of the 15 businesses on the day of the event and collect stamps at each location without making a purchase. After 1 p.m., completed game cards should be turned in at Courtside Furniture.
Participating businesses include Westside Market, Miller Home Furnishings, Victoria's Floral, Merrill Historical Society, Jokin' Joe’s Bait & Tackle, Auntie Ray’s, Kindhearted Floral & Custom Creations, Polka Dotted Pie, Hargrave Appliance Center, Merrill Ace Hardware, VIP Office Products, Courtside Furniture, Inspiring Creativity, Merrill Sheet Metal, and Geiss Meat Service.
Each business will also feature in-store specials and Christmas items. The Merrill Historical Society will host a Merrill author book signing and tours, Courtside Furniture will offer Black Friday specials, and Auntie Ray’s and Polka Dotted Pie will offer breakfast and lunch specials.
