As many of you know, Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) has been a part of my life for 52 years. It's a journey that has fueled my unwavering commitment to finding a cure, not just for myself, but for the millions of others living with this challenging dibsease.
On **Sat., September 13th, at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, NY**, I'll be participating in the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation's (DRIF) Run Walk Ride event. This is an incredibly important event for the DRIF, an organization that is tirelessly working towards a biological cure for T1D – a breakthrough that would truly revolutionize lives. Their research is at the forefront of this effort, and every dollar raised brings us closer to that reality.
