Adopt a Trail Workday at Deadhorse Trails - ICORE & WDNR

OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES FOR THE DAY INCLUDES:
Removing hazard trees
Trimming and moving brush
Expanding the width of the snowshoe trail for winter use
Painting the kiosk (we have all supplies ready)

WE ALSO NEED VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE:
SNACKS
REFRESHMENTS

WHAT TO BRING
Volunteers should bring:
water to drink
gloves
snack or lunch
Dress for the weather
The WDNR staff will provide most of the necessary tools. Feel free to bring additional tools such as:
Rakes
Clippers
hand saws

DIRECTIONS to the trail are: From Mercer take Highway 51 north about 1 mile to County Highway FF (Left). Go about 6 miles to Popko Circle West (Left). Go about 2 miles on Popko Circle West to the Deadhorse Grouse Habitat Trailhead parking lot.
