What will be covered:
-Introduction to Rally Novice signs (exercises)
-Building communication & teamwork with your dog
-Navigating transitions between signs smoothly
-Understanding common judge deductions
-Practicing stationary, moving, and transition exercises
Susan Cota is a 26-year obedience and rally instructor, retired from Tri-County Dog Training Academy. She began competing in Rally in 2005 with her Cocker Spaniel Charley—one of the first five Cockers in the U.S. to earn a Rally Excellent title. Susan has titled dogs in AKC and UKC Obedience, Rally, and Conformation, co-led the Marinette County 4-H Dog Project for 10 years, and now serves as a county fair judge. She’s an AKC-approved CGC, CGCA, and Trick Dog judge, and a Therapy Dogs International evaluator who has trained and certified four therapy dogs of her own.
