We are excited about the return of Master Paul Olson, accomplished
Poomsae Coach, and the learning opportunity that we have with his knowledge and experience that he will be sharing during this learning weekend of Poomsae.
Friday (August 8) Instructors/Leadership Poomsae class (invite only):
We will start Friday (August 8) with an Instructors/Leadership Poomsae class (invitation only). This will be prep work for the foundation of the weekend for Instructors and Leadership that need a deeper understanding of Poomsae. If you think you might be a good fit for that class, please contact Master Boltz.
Instructors/Leadership Poomsae (invitation only): 6:00-8:00pm�Cost $75
Saturday (August 9) color belt Poomsae:
All the color belt sessions will be structured with learning during the first portion of the session and finish with a Poomsae Ribbon competition. This will place participants into groups of 4 where they get to compete with others in the form they just worked on and putting to use the information they just learned. This will be a fun way to wrap up each session.
Special Note: The sessions are based on rank and advanced students can participate in multiple sessions (and gain greater knowledge over the day/weekend). The cost will be for one or all eligible sessions. This means you pay for the session for your rank and any additional lower rank sessions are included.
White Belts
Kicking off the day with a session for White belts and up. Master Olson will be working on our Kibon Hyung (Basic Form). He will start introducing the rhythm and pacing for this form and teaching a foundation for so many future forms.
Training: 9-9:45am Ribbon Comepetition: 9:45-10am�Cost $30
Orange - Green Belts
The second session is for Orange to Green belts and up with Master Olson working on our Teaguek (1) Il Chung. This session is design to give Orange, Yellow and Green belts the knowledge and skills to put to use in their forms. We will only be working on this one form but it gives the information needed to be used on all three color belt forms.
Training: 10-11:30am Ribbon Comepetition: 11:30-Noon�Cost $50
Blue - Brown Belts
The next session is for Blue to Brown belts and up with Master Olson working on our Teaguek (4) Sa Chung. This session is design to give Blue, Purple and Brown belts the knowledge and skills to put to use in their forms. We will only be working on this one form but it gives the information needed to be used on all color belt forms.
Training: 1-2:30am Ribbon Comepetition: 2:30-3pm�Cost $50
Brown - Provisional Belts
The final color belt session is for Brown belts and up. Master Olson will be working on both Teaguek (7) Chil Chung and Taeguek (8) Pal Chung. This session is design to give Brown belts and up the knowledge and skills to put to use in their forms. We will work on both these forms to round out the knowledge and skills learned with all the color belt forms. Come prepared to learn and grow.
Training: 3-4:30am Ribbon Comepetition: 4:30-5pm�Cost $50
Black Belt Session 1 - Koryo:
The Black Belt session one is Koryo! Master Olson will work Koryo for a 2 hour session and detail information about this Poomsae.
There will not be a Ribbon competition for Black Belts. The entire seminar will be devoted to learning and improving on Poomsae for all who attend.
Black Belt Session 1 (1st Dan & up): 6-8:00pm

Sunday (August 10) Black Belt Session 2 - Geumgang +:
The Black Belt session two
(for 2nd degrees and up) will be a 2 hour session to review the finer points for the Black Belt forms Geumgang and higher. This is a huge opportunity for Black Belt 2nd degree and higher.
Black Belt Session 2 (2nd Dan & up): 1:00-3:00pm�Cost $75
Special Notes: Black Belts that help with the color belts sessions (yes and learn all that is detailed in those classes) and judge for the Poomsae competitions for color belts will receive all the knowledge and experience for these sessions at no cost. Registration for a Black Belt session is required.
