Read Around the Christmas Tree

Join us on Saturday, December 20, from 12-3 p.m. at Douglass Community Center for Read Around the Christmas Tree! Our annual event will feature local children’s book authors reading to youth around a 20-foot Christmas tree, plus:

• Giveaways
• A free youth marketplace
• Family photos with Santa
• Carriage rides through the enchanted Douglass Park
• More literacy-based fun for registered participants

Giveaway items are available while supplies last. This event is made possible thanks to our Literacy Meets Recreation program sponsors, International Paper and Literacy Mid-South, and our generous donors:
