Gina Neely, an American celebrity chef, show host, best-selling author, reality television star, brand ambassador, wellness advocate and restaurateur, has made significant strides in the culinary world. Her breakthrough came in 2008 with the launch of her cooking show, Down Home with the Neelys, which became the Food Network’s highest-rated series debut. She further solidified her position in the industry as the primetime host of The Food Network’s Road Tasted and the producer and host of her show, Chopped with Gina Neely, on Magic Johnson’s Aspire TV Network.
Gina’s deep-rooted love for family, food, and the joy of life is evident in her work. This love transcended to the publishing world when her first cookbook, Down Home with the Neelys (Knopf, 2009), quickly earned a place on The New York Times bestseller list. Gina also authored The Neely’s Celebration Cookbook (Knopf, 2011) and Back Home with the Neelys (Knopf, 2014). She has authored her book, “This Is My Life, and These Are My Rules.”
