DNA's "Meal on Main"

We are proud to announce our inaugural “Meal on Main” event, set for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5–9 PM. This one-of-a-kind community dinner will transform Main Street between MLK Jr. Avenue and Pontotoc Avenue into a vibrant, open-air dining room complete with long rows of tables draped in crisp white linens, elegant white chairs, and glowing overhead string lights!

The evening’s menu will be prepared by acclaimed Chef Jimmy Gentry of The Lobbyist, a celebrated Downtown restaurant located right on the event block. Guests will enjoy a curated dining experience featuring two chef-prepared protein options with sides, cooked over an open flame on Main Street itself.

The celebration begins with a Social Hour, sponsored by Red Bull, from 5–6 PM, featuring discounted cocktails (cash bar) and live music. Dinner will be served from 6–8 PM, followed by a lively hour of discounted cocktails, mingling and music to close out the night. Guests can also look forward to a spirited Happy Hour sponsored by Old Dominick Distillery, another Downtown favorite.

What better way to close out a year of success with the Downtown Neighborhood Association than by breaking bread together under the lights of Main Street?” said Jerred Price, President of the Downtown Neighborhood Association.

Tickets for the dinner are priced at $69.95, with a $10 discount available for Downtown Neighborhood Association and South Main Association members. Seats are limited and expected to sell quickly, so get yours now!
