DBT STEPS Training

This event is for school-based psychologists, counselors and social workers.

This workshop will:

• Present DBT Life Skills and how/when to apply these skills
• Provide an overview of the STEPS Program, social emotional learning curriculum based on the DBT Life Skills

About the STEPS Program:

•Highly successful in addressing emotion and behavior dysregulation

•Provides both short-term relief from trauma symptoms and long-term improvements in overall mental health and functioning

•Builds strong coping strategies and decision-making skills

•Practical and applicable to a wide range of life experiences

The event is 2 days:

• Thursday April 30, 9am-3pm
• Friday May 1, 9am-3pm
• Lunch will be provided
