Lap The Lake Community Kite Festival

Get ready for a breathtaking sky show as Great American Kites brings some of North America’s largest and most whimsical kites to Melvern Lake for the inaugural Osage County Kite Festival!

🧺 Bring a Picnic! Pack your favorite blanket, lawn chair, and basket to relax by the lake while enjoying some of North America’s largest and most whimsical kites soaring overhead.

From giant creatures soaring high above to colorful displays dancing in the wind, this family-friendly event will amaze spectators of all ages. Our crew will be on-site helping promote the “Lap the Lake” festivities while filling the skies with unforgettable sights.
