What a Ride! Rural Community Owned Carnivals

The Osage County Historical Society will host Erika Nelson as she presents, “What a Ride! Rural Community-Owned Carnivals,” on Saturday, October 18th at 10:30am at the Melvern Community Center. This talk will discuss not only the history of Kansas carnivals, but also recent endeavors by small, rural communities to keep this tradition alive and thriving.
