The Melton RSL Sub-Branch, in conjunction with the Caroline Springs RSL Sub-Branch, warmly invites all members of the community to attend the 2025 Aintree Remembrance Day Service on Sunday, 9 November 2025, at Woodlea Town, Lim Way, Aintree.
Each year, we gather to pause in solemn reflection and honour the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. This important observance remembers the signing of the Armistice that ended the First World War and commemorates all Australian service personnel who have died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

📍 Location: Woodlea Town – Lim Way, Aintree, VIC 3335
The service will commence promptly and will include the traditional observance of one minute’s silence, wreath laying, readings, and the sounding of the Last Post. Members of the veteran community and local organisations will participate in the formal proceedings.
Dress Code:
Professional attire is requested. Men are encouraged to wear a suit and tie if able, with equivalent formal wear for women.
Veterans are encouraged to wear their full-sized medals on the left breast.
Relatives of veterans are welcome to wear their family member’s medals on the right breast, in accordance with official protocol.
Members of the public are encouraged to wear a red poppy in remembrance.
We invite the Aintree and wider community to stand with us in honouring the memory of those who served and sacrificed. Your presence is a meaningful tribute and a valued gesture of support to our veteran community.
