Oct GreenUp MeetUp: Greening Up w/Biodiversity and Parks

The Urban Biodiversity Alliance (TUBA) and Friends invite you to join us for a Green Coffee Hour in Melrose, MA Ward 5 to discuss greening up our corners of the world! We will talk about growing plants, resources for increasing biodiversity, and what it might be like to care for an adopt a site as a community (Washington & Pleasant, pictured in the event photo!). We will talk about micro parks and growing space for native plants and pollinators.

We will meet outside Radio Lofts 5-25 Pleasant. If it rains we will move to a community room in the building. If anyone has accessibility needs please write us ahead of time to let us know how to best accommodate you. If we move we will put out a sign.

Feel free to bring snacks and we will bring one hot pot of tea and coffee. 3PM-4PM. FREE. Donations and seeds and plants always welcome.
Adopt an Island clean up may follow but not required!

TUBA is a Melrose and Malden-based grassroots non-profit that hosts conversations and collaborative activities to educate about increasing biodiversity and create space to network and cross pollinate on related issues.
