Division Caps & Registration
We intend to cap this event at 140 players. Cards will consist of 3-4 players. Tee times will be in intervals of 12 minutes and will spread over 6 hours, 6:30-1:30pm. Groups will only consist of players from a single division (with exception to amateur women and juniors). Pro groups will tee in the afternoon.
Division caps will be set in multiples of 4 once the field reaches 72 registered players. Divisions that do not have at least 3 registered players at that time will be removed and players will be asked to join a different division. Once division caps are set they will not be changed.

Round 1 tee times will be published at 8pm Thursday, July 11th and can be found on the PDGA page for this event, linked below. Be sure to double check your tee time as they may change after initially being published.
Round 2 - Sunday, July 13th

Beat the Heat
This is mid-July in Texas, it will be HOT!! We are playing 2 rounds of 18 holes on a long course. We have structured the event schedule in hopes of having everyone play the course in less than 3 hours. Pro cards will expect to tee during the hottest stretch of the day. We will have spotters on several holes and have strategically altered the 21 hole Trinity layout to help cards move through the course a bit quicker and limit time in the sunny areas of the course.
Players need to be prepared for a long, hot Texas round of golf. Hats, sunglasses, and umbrellas are great tools to avoid the sun. Carts can help minimize fatigue and manage very well on this course. Wear sunscreen if needed and stay in the shade where possible.
We will have shade and hydration stations at holes 2, 8, 13, and 18 (Gold). It is imperative that players BRING LOTS OF WATER! Players will get a hydration drink mix as part of their player pack and more will be available for purchase at tournament central.
Be sure to hydrate well on Friday and Saturday evenings. Hydration starts 48 hours before heat exposure. Preparation before the event will go a long way to keeping hydrated. Be safe and let's all have a good time!
Awards and Payouts
There will be a minimum of $750 added to the pro purse for this event. As we generate more sponsors we will add more to both pro and amateur payouts. Thank you to our sponsors for making this possible!
Payout will be awarded to the top 45% of each division using the PDGA payout scale. Pro divisions will be paid in cash or digitally after the event. Amateur players will win a merchandise credit to The on-site Disc Golf Dojo proshop.
There will be no payout for MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4, or Junior Divisions. The winner of those divisions will be awarded $50 in merchandise credit if there are 3 or more players in the division.
Payout will be available and published to Disc Golf Scene once all players have completed their rounds. Payout can be redeemed the day of the event or at any future Disc Golf Dojo event. Follow us on Disc Golf Scene and get notified where we are each weekend.
Am payout will expire 2 years after it is awarded. Credit awarded at this event is valid through July 14th, 2027.
Trophies will be awarded to the first place finisher in divisions with 3 or more registered players.
Flex Start Friday
In addition to the Tiger Open, The Disc Golf Dojo will be hosting a Friday Flex Start event at The Woods at Trinity on July 12th. This will give players an opportunity to practice the course or get a rated round in on the Tiger Open layout of the course.
Our Friday Flex Starts offer doubles and PDGA sanctioned singles options, chances at large ace pots, and an opportunity to compete for players who are unable to participate in the Tiger Open.
