Ospreys in Trouble

Osprey reproduction in the Chesapeake Bay and other areas of the mid-Atlantic Coast has declined precipitously over the past several years. Dr. Bryan D. Watts, the Mitchell A. Byrd Professor of Conservation Biology and Director of The Center for Conservation Biology at William & Mary, will provide the latest research from the Chesapeake Bay. Biologist Ben Wurst leads the New Jersey Osprey Project for the nonprofit Conserve Wildlife NJ. He will provide data on the osprey status along the NJ coastal area.
