The Storm, The Craft & The Future - The Anton Gerner Exhibition II

I’m thrilled to announce that my new exhibition, THE STORM, THE CRAFT & THE FUTURE, will be part of Melbourne Design Week 2025.

At the heart of the exhibition is a pair of cabinets crafted from Elm salvaged from the UK’s Great Storm of 1987. As part of a collection of 10 entirely new works, it challenges you to reimagine the possibilities of your environment.

Labassa is the perfect counterpoint to this contemporary collection of sculptural pieces. I can’t wait for you to see the exhibition and discover the future direction of my practice.

The exhibition is free and will run from 23-25 May 2025 at Labassa, 2 Manor Grove, Caulfield North.
