About the event

Scotch Royalty: A Highland Tasting in the Cellars
Your favorite Highland rogue, Harry Coo, is dusting off the crown jewels of single malt Scotch and rolling out the red carpet for a tasting of Scotch royalty. This isn’t your average whisky flight—it’s an extraordinary lineup of Highland prestige, aged elegance, and cask mastery. Join us for a guided journey through four exceptional expressions, each aged to perfection and rich in distillery history.

What’s Pouring:

𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞
Region: Highlands

Maturation: Aged in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, and Cabernet Sauvignon barriques.

Flavor: Notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate, ripe plums, and a whisper of smoke—designed to pair perfectly with a fine cigar.

Distillery Insight: Founded in 1839 and famous for its royal stag emblem, Dalmore is a symbol of opulence. Under Master Blender Richard Paterson’s guidance, Dalmore has mastered multi-cask aging with a luxurious touch.

𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝟐𝟓 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫
Region: Speyside

Maturation: 100% Oloroso sherry casks for a quarter century.

Flavor: Complex and full-bodied with flavors of rich fruitcake, walnuts, spice, and lingering oak.

Distillery Insight: Family-owned since 1865, Glenfarclas is one of the last truly independent distilleries in Scotland. Known for sherry-cask aging and traditional direct-fired stills, their legacy is rooted in purity and patience.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝟏𝟓 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫
Region: Speyside

Maturation: Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons.

Flavor: Layers of dark chocolate, figs, and baking spices, with a velvety mouthfeel.

Distillery Insight: Resurrected under industry legend Billy Walker, GlenAllachie has quickly become a powerhouse of rich, sherried whisky. The focus? Small-batch perfection and masterful wood policy.

𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝟏𝟕 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫
Region: Speyside (with Highland boldness)

Maturation: Aged in a mix of refill and first-fill bourbon barrels and sherry casks.

Flavor: Robust with sulfurous funk, pineapple, beeswax, and smoky oak—a whisky that refuses to be tamed.

Distillery Insight: Built in 1891, Craigellachie is known for its worm tub condensers, which give its whisky a heavy, muscular character. This is a distillery for those who love a bit of rebellion in their dram.

This is your passport to the Highlands, where heritage meets excellence in every sip. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just starting your single malt journey, this is one tasting you simply can’t miss. There are no refunds due to limited seating.
