Sally Ford and the Idiomatics with Maxine Beneba Clarke

Back in the glorious surrounds of the Melbourne Athenaeum Library for an early Friday evening soirée amongst weighty tomes. Joining us will be poet, novelist and non-fiction writer Maxine Beneba Clarke who will be reading excerpts of her work over a lush electro-acoustic underscore created by the band. Alice Garner will also be joining us on cello. Doors at 5.40pm and we play one set 6-7pm. Come on down to browse the collection, have a glass of wine and a listen.
