Reconciliation Week Flag Raising Ceremony

Location: Front lawn of St Kilda Town Hall

This event is organised by City of Port Phillip and the Boonwurrung Land and Sea Council, and will mark the start of National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June).

This year’s theme is “Bridging Now to Next”, reflecting the ongoing connection between past, present and future and facilitated by Boonwurrung Community Elder.

“Bridging Now to Next” calls on all Australians to step forward together, to look ahead and continue the push forward as past lessons guide us.

Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

All members of the community are invited to attend. No registration required.
