Following the success of volume 1, MYRIAD, the Percussion Ensemble of the Melbourne Conservatorium, presents another edition of House Music – an eclectic assortment of pieces written by our own ‘in-house’ composers, showcasing a small sample of the incredible talent we have in our community.
Composers featured in this volume of House Music include Miriama Young, Mark Pollard, Brynn Jacka, Peter de Jager, Steve Falk and Robert Cossom, including his brand-new arrangement of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition for 14-player percussion ensemble.
Special guests include:
Steve Falk, who joins us to perform a new arrangement of his work Panorama Birrarung for two soloists and ensemble.
Peter de Jager, who joins us as pianist to present his work Fractured Timelines with MYRIAD.
Tickets are free - If sold out online, please still come! There is always an attendance drop-off with free concerts, and we can usually always find you a seat.
