✨ Wanderlust ✨
Once upon a time, the desire to explore, to dream, and to discover led an orchestra on a journey beyond borders 🏔️ — and so, MUBSO invites you to follow that call of Wanderlust.
In this first concert of 2025, be transported through stirring soundscapes and timeless tales. Our voyage begins with Khachaturian’s Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia, a sweeping and sensual theme of forbidden love 💕 and liberation. We then arrive in the windswept fjords and tender heartache of Grieg’s beloved Piano Concerto in A minor, performed by the spellbinding soloist Anson Zhang 🤩. And finally, the horizon broadens into Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 (From the New World) — a majestic and heartfelt tribute to lands both foreign and familiar.
Guided by conductor Yuki Goh 🎶, MUBSO charts a course through music that awakens the restless soul 🌬️ and stirs dreams of faraway places. Let the melodies carry you, as we set sail on a breathtaking journey across time, culture, and emotion.
