Monash University Performing Arts Centres' Big Jazz Day Out

An epic jazz party featuring more than 150 incredible musicians across five unique spaces including award winning artists Paul Grabowsky Ngaiire Emma Donovan and Monash Art Ensemble!

Premiering new collaborative compositions Sydney-based vocalist Ngaiire unites with pianist Paul Grabowsky at the Alexander Theatre. A unique project showcasing the Monash University String Sinfonia be swept away by their heartfelt and cinematic take on soulful jazz. Then in the evening celebrate all things jazz and swing with arranger and composer Andrew Murray and his 15-piece big band orchestra. Featuring all-new arrangements witness vocalists Emma Donovan Fem Belling and Joshua Tavares raise the roof off The Alexander Theatre. Plus our iconic live music house The Count’s hosts local icons Jazz Party and The Cairo Club. And so so much more!
