Melbourne's folk-tronic act Amaru Tribe are about to embark on an exciting journey to Colombia, where they’ll complete production of their next EP/Album – featuring collaborations with both local and international artists.
Before they go, they’re inviting the community to gather for an intimate farewell celebration at The Nightcat on Friday, August 1st.
Expect a vibrant night blending cultures and sounds, with a stellar lineup of friends and collaborators:
🔸 Amaru Tribe – Performing live and launching their brand new single ‘SOMOS ORO REMIX’, a powerful collaboration with Berlin-based producer MAUGLI
🔸 MOONTIDE – Bringing a unique hybrid DJ set, fresh from his set at Portugal’s iconic Boom Festival

This event caps off a big year for Amaru Tribe, who recently returned from Bali Spirit Festival and earlier performed at WOMAD NZ and WOMADelaide. Their trip to Colombia marks a new chapter in their musical evolution – diving deeper into their roots and expanding their sonic world.
