Get ready for a ruckus! Ebolagoldfish, Sydney's most lovable party punks, bring their raucous live show to Melbourne in July. They'll warm your winter bones with their signature blend of pop-punk anthems, served with a sprinkle of satire, dripping in harmonies.
Playing all the hits they forgot last night and more, that they forgot they played last night, with locals: Sidesplitter & The Coolabahs, all set to guide you through this sweet Sunday sesh, specifically designed to start your weekend winding down in an uncontrollable freefall towards rock bottom, before leaving you hungover yet somehow still drunk, supremely satisfied and oh so very alone.
Ebolagoldfish have defined their own style. Squarely part of the punk-rock scene, they are often seen peeking out a small pigeon-shaped hole in the side. Masters of satirical storytelling, sometimes void of subtlety, the fourth album from this Aussie three-piece tells a tale that takes us back to the best times in our lives and explores their darker sides. Part warning sign, part travel guide, it’s the ultimate how-to, overdo and overcome, while having fun. ‘Bad Choices Good Times’ is a mixed bag of party favours and adults-only treats that will leave you thinking, “This ain’t no children’s party, but someone should really be supervising this."
Sidesplitter is made up of members of The Eradicator, Foxtrot, Dawn Of The Jackal & The Suicide Tuesdays, playing songs about house shows and wishing to one day watch fascist goverments fall.
