Docklands Firelight Festival Paddle

Saturday 28th June. 6pm.

Starting from Yarra Edge Marina, we’ll paddle under Bolte Bridge and up into the Docklands basin to see the Firelight Festival from the water.

We’ll launch at 6pm, so please arrive early to set up your gear.

Bring the party lights. Bling up your board with some fun lights.

This paddle is open to anyone, however you MUST have some paddling experience and feel confident, as we’ll be paddling in deep water and it will be very dark. Expect to paddle about 8kms all up. Medium fitness level is recommended.

This paddle is not suitable for beginners.

Everyone MUST have at least one small white lantern or torch on your board, making you visible to other water craft. NO LIGHT, NO PADDLE.

You MUST must a leg rope.

Life jackets are not mandatory, but we highly recommend them for this paddle.

Sorry, no kids under 12 allowed on this paddle.

Dress warm, it’s going to be cold. Wear clothes that you could possibly swim in, should you fall in the water. It’s a good idea to bring a spare change of clothes and leave them in your car, just in case.

And don’t forget your festive lights for you and your board.
