Maleficum
"Hailing from Western Victoria and Melbourne, Maleficium have been plying their trade in early 90' death metal for over 10 years.
Alongside this there are some thrash influences too and some blackened vocals in places to match.
They dont claim to be the fastest or the most technical, instead honing on catchy death metal where their strengths lie.
To date an EP was released called Ritual Enslavement and their next EP has been recorded and will be released very soon.
Their live show is testament to the experience that all 5 members of this unit have had. Positive feedback from punters have left them wanting more with attendance growing with every live conquest that this act participates in"
Slaughterfield
Slaughterfield is made up of members from Maniaxe, CounterAttack, Direblaze, Thrillkillers, Bombshells & Numb with influences ranging from Kiss to Megadeth, Slayer, Naplam Death & Carcass Slaughterfield sound like any good metal battle jacket should look.
Virulent Invocation
Fresh from selling out upstairs at the Bendi for their debut show, Virulent Invocation continue their trajectory up the ladder of Melbourne Metal. Blending extreme Death, Thrash and Black metal stylings tempered with a touch of South American rhythms and gutter grooves, VI's sound will very likely cause damage to some parts of the Boogiemans ancient architecture, and the psyche of those who will be in attendance. In the future, you'll want to say you were there at the beginning.
