Saturday Creek Float Day – August 23rd
Grab your tube or kayak and come float the creek with us for a fun, easygoing Saturday adventure!
🛶 Date: Saturday, August 23rd
🕥 Float Start: Meet at Slade Road bridge at 10:30 AM
🚗 Or meet at my house (623 Morton Road) at 9:30 AM to carpool/shuttle
📍 End Point: Townline Road
👉 Best plan: Drop off your float gear at Slade, then park at Townline, and we’ll carpool back to Slade together so your car is ready at the end.
⏱️ Trip duration: Around 5 hours
👨👩👧👦 Families, tweens, and teens are welcome—just use your best judgment based on comfort and experience on the water.
🥤Bring snacks and drinks—whatever keeps you refreshed and happy on the float! (Coolers are welcome—float responsibly.)
☀️ Don’t forget sunscreen and anything else you’ll want for a good stretch on the water.
