Hear My Heart Sing - A Feast of British Choral Music (Free entry)

The acclaimed British chamber choir Londinium making its first visit to Belgium presents a feast of outstanding music by British composers from the seventeenth century to the present day. The programme includes masterpieces by Elgar Stanford and Vaughan Williams madrigals and motets by the Renaissance composers Byrd Gibbons and Weelkes and superb contemporary works by Kerensa Briggs Bernard Hughes and Cecilia McDowall. The choir will also perform music by the English Renaissance composer Peter Philips who made his career in Antwerp and by the Flemish master Pierre de la Rue resident at Margaret of Austria's court at Mechelen.
