On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Optimist Club of Mechanicsville is hosting a fun event at the Mechanicsville Moose to raise money for Pediatrics at Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital! This event is more than just a dinner, dance, & game night; it’s an opportunity to help our children’s experience in the Emergency Department when at the Hospital. No one wants their child to spend any time in an emergency room, but things happen that are out of our control. At least we can help make it as comfortable as possible.

The Ballin for Bucks game is only selling ball numbers from 1 to 200. To ensure you get your "lucky" number get your tickets now. Numbers will be assigned on a first come first served basis. Every 10th ball wins $100.
