Help Us Honor Pennsylvania Civil War Veterans This Labor Day Weekend in Mechanicsburg
The Pennsylvania Reserve Volunteer Corps Historical Society (PRVCHS) invites you to join us for a Cemetery Workshop in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31.
We will be working in partnership with Trindle Spring Cemetery. This historic cemetery is the final resting place of many veterans—including members of the Pennsylvania Reserves—whose headstones deserve care and respect. Together, we’ll clean and preserve these markers to ensure their legacy lives on.
What We’re Doing:
Our priority will be the graves of Pennsylvania Reserve soldiers, ensuring these men who gave so much are properly honored. Once their markers have been cared for, we’ll shift our focus and the remainder of our supplies to tend the graves of other Pennsylvania veterans resting in Trindle Springs.
We Need Volunteers!
No experience needed—we’ll provide all the tools, supplies, and training. Just bring your enthusiasm to make a difference.
When: Saturday, August 30 & Sunday, August 31
Where: Trindle Springs Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, PA
This is a meaningful way to give back, learn history, and spend time with like-minded people. Families, friends, and groups are welcome.
“The only way for a soldier to truly die is to be forgotten.” Let’s make sure these men are remembered.
