The French Creek Arts Collective and The Learning Center K-8 School are teaming up for a truly fantastical summer adventure!
Imagination will come to life as campers step into a vibrant fantasy world filled with epic quests, mythical creatures, and heroic adventures. Each camper creates their own unique character—like a brave knight, clever rogue, or powerful mage—and embarks on story-driven missions that unfold across forests, castles, and enchanted villages.
With hand-crafted costumes, cardboard-forged weapons, and guided storytelling, campers learn teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving in an immersive, screen-free environment. It’s a summer experience that blends the excitement of live theater with the thrill of outdoor adventure!
Epic Quest will take place July 21-25 from 9:00-3:00. It is open to students entering grades 4-8. Camp fee is $200.
Epic Quest will be led by Mitchell King as Game Master, and Emily Cicora, as Facilitator.
Mitchell is an accomplished actor and director, and longtime Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast. You may have seen him in the Academy Theater's recent productions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Producers.
Emily is a teaching artist at LCK8 and has helped to create props, sets, and costumes for many local theater productions, including Meadville Community Theater's Wonderland Project.
